What is colt scamp?

The Colt SCAMP (Sub-compact automatic machine pistol) is a compact firearm designed by the American firearms manufacturer Colt during the late 1970s. It was intended for use by military and law enforcement personnel as a backup weapon or concealed carry option.

The SCAMP was chambered in the relatively small .25 ACP (Automatic Colt Pistol) caliber, which limited its stopping power but allowed for a compact design. It featured a fixed barrel and blowback operation, with a capacity of 6 rounds in a detachable box magazine.

Despite its innovative design and intended market, the Colt SCAMP never saw widespread adoption and was eventually discontinued. However, it remains a curiosity among firearm enthusiasts due to its unique design and compact size.
